About Faith and Cultural Exchange 2015 Applications are open!

About FACE stands for Faith And Cultural Exchange and has been an activity of the National Uniting Church in Australia since 1984. It is open to anyone over 18 years of age to attend and the next program will take place from 5th-18th January 2015. About FACE involves briefing, time living in Congress Aboriginal communities and debriefing.
The program aims to create an ‘about face’ in the attitudes and lifestyles of participants, and to build relationships and bridges of understanding. About FACE is not simply an event for an individual, but is a shared experience with congregations and communities. It is a program run in partnership with the National Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC/Congress).
When: 5 January, 2015 – 18 January, 2015

COST: By Friday 29th August – $1,900 after 29th August – $2,100 total

There are three pieces of information that you need to read in preparation for applying to be part of the About FACE 2015 program:
INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS – this document contains information such as the various About FACE 2015 phases; costs of the program; application dates and the refund policy for the program.
APPLICATION FORM - pretty self-explanatory, this is the form that all applicants need to complete and send back to the About FACE office when completed
REFEREES FORM - each applicant needs to have two referees and this is the form which you give your referees to complete. They will return it directly to the About FACE office.
Applications for the 2015 program close on Friday 26th September, 2014.
There is an early-bird discount of $200 for those who make their application before Friday 29th August. Full details of the dates and costs for the program can be found in the Information for Applicants document.
